This 2100 Sqft abode is a perfect example of a Progressive Contemporary style. The client and his family wanted the house to be of ‘the present type’ and progressive in time or as we call it a “contemporary style”. He desired the house to have a distinguishable aesthetic that emphasises crisp lines, splash of colours and balance. The involvement of natural materials and natural light was the key factor for them. Practicality and low maintenance were the firsts for the family as they believe in comfort over style.
As the project name suggests, a lot of artistic forms in terms of colours, art and trends globally played an important role as an inspiration for this project.
Completely captivated by the charming decor device that the elegant “Arch” trend bounds on from the design line up of classical art frame with contrasting splash of colours in form of hand painted art to an inverted archway window overlooking the kitchen, to the aura of the temple entryway.. The first thoughts on the house compilation by this arched art and bold yet harmonious colours that blend in with the overall organic spatial style is what pushed the team to experiment with this “in-style trend”.
The selection of bold yet different colours, natural yet artistic marble and art in all different forms and factors come harmoniously together to showcase a contemporary-luxe progressive space.
Every space you enter gives you a feel of a brand new experience yet a strong bound in continuation with the same design flow of the house.
This house is indeed Art and Beyond.
